Pay property tax in Tamil Nadu towns and cities

Property tax in Tamil Nadu is due every half-year. You can pay online for corporations and municipalities from abroad.

• Property tax assessment number
• A past tax receipt

Steps

1. Open TN Urban e-Pay and choose Property Tax.
2. Select your city or town and enter the assessment number from an old receipt.
3. Check the dues shown, including any arrears.
4. Pay by card or net banking and save the receipt.

Good to know

Chennai gives a rebate for paying early in each half-year. Check the current terms on the corporation's notice.
