Check patta and chitta online (Tamil Nadu)
Patta and chitta show who owns the land and its details in revenue records. Check them before any land deal, and every year or so for land you own.

- District, taluk and village
- Survey and sub-division numbers
Steps
- Open the Tamil Nadu e-Services land records page.
- Choose View Patta and FMB / Chitta / TSLR Extract.
- Select district, taluk and village, then enter the survey and sub-division numbers.
- Download the patta and chitta. Check the owner's name matches your documents.
