Report a cyber fraud or fake call

Report quickly. The sooner a fraud is reported, the better the chance of stopping the money.

Keep these ready

• Transaction reference numbers
• Screenshots of messages and calls

Steps

1. Call the national cyber crime helpline 1930 from an Indian number, or report on cybercrime.gov.in.
2. Give the transaction details and the account or UPI ID the money went to.
3. Tell your bank at the same time and ask it to block the card or account.
4. Keep the complaint number and follow up on the portal.
