Book an appointment at the Indian mission
Most services at Indian embassies and consulates, such as passports, OCI and attestation, need an appointment booked online.
Keep these ready
- Passport
- Visa or residence permit
- Documents on the service checklist
Steps
- Find the Indian embassy or consulate that covers the place you live.
- Check on its website which centre handles your service. Many missions use an outsourced centre such as VFS or BLS.
- Book the appointment online and note the reference number.
- Take every document on the checklist, with copies, and the fee in the form the centre accepts.
